## How it works

- Your building's entry panel dials a phone number when a visitor selects your unit.
- Lowkey gives you a dedicated local virtual phone number. Your building manager programs it for your unit (a routine change, same as updating a tenant's phone number).
- Buzzer calls then ring the Lowkey app on every phone you choose. Press a key or tap in the app to unlock the building door.
- Optional: auto-buzz for deliveries, 4 digit passcodes entered on the buzzer keypad, and scheduled or time-limited access that expires automatically (for cleaners, sitters, guests).
- Activity history logs every entry. 99.99% uptime.
- Lowkey opens the building's front entrance door. It does not open individual apartment doors, and it is not a camera or video intercom.

## Compatibility

Lowkey works if your buzzer dials out to a phone number (most systems, including Enterphone, Mircom, DoorKing, and Aiphone telephone entry panels and gate call boxes).
